Audacity Audio Devices Error

Specs: Windows 10, Audacity 2.1.1, .exe installer

When starting up Audacity, I get an error message that says the following:

"Could not find any audio devices.
You will not be able to play or record audio.

Error: Internal PortAudio error"

Then, when Audacity opens, I have no options for audio inputs or outputs.

Anyone know why this could be happening?

In short, at least one of your audio devices doesn’t have proper Windows 10 drivers. This may happen for example if you upgraded to Windows 10 on the same branded computer but did not update the drivers of the built-in audio device from the computer manufacturer’s web site.

If Windows 10 drivers are not available you may be able to work around it using Audacity 2.1.3-alpha.

All this is explained here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Windows_10_OS#drivers.

That makes sense, I just updated to Windows 10. Thanks!
