I love audacity and have not had this problem until yesterday. Dont know if the upgrades are the cause but I recently went up to Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1 (latest) & Audacity 3.7.1.
Was recording a program over 1 hr in length. When I listened back, after a certain point the recording sounded like a skipping record. A loop. It went on for the rest of the program. When I tried to re-record the program, before starting the recording the meters were already moving. I recorded a bit w/o starting the source program and listened back - it was the earlier skipping part, still glitching. Tried quitting audacity altogether and then restarted the app - same thing - that looping glitch was still in audacity. I had to fully restart computer to clear it. Eventually got it to record my full source program, but then when I was editing that, I came across a brief section where it again skip-looped. the source continued to play and when the glitch stopped, I should see I’d lost the source program during that moment. I uploaded that little glitch. Any help appreciated, it may be something that needs an app upgrade. Thanks Duane
