Audacity 3.5.1 crashes when attempting to record a new track

Audacity 3.5.1 on Windows 10

I have a project with 8 tracks. I’m attempting to add/reccord a new, 9th track. After hitting record, the existing tracks begin to play and a new track appears ready, but the project crashes within a few seconds. I attempt to Send the crash report but nothing happens - the crash report just hangs there until I Cancel it.

Testing on W10 with 3.5.1

I cannot replicate this, it works fine for me with the 9nth track and other subsequent tracks.

Yeah… I tried it again and it worked. I was hoping it would fail again so I could cut and paste the error log, but like anything else, when you WANT it to fail, it doesn’t.
