Audacity 3.2.3 not seeing my iMac with Ventura 13.1

When I press record I get a flat line. Zilch.

Please give me some direction on what I need to change etc. so I can record.

When I “Rescan Audio Devices” it doesn’t seem to help.

Any ideas?

What version of Audacity? What model of Mac? What version of macOS? What is your recording device (internal microphone, USB audio device, etc)?
