Launch from terminal, opens projects but changing settings for example, default view as spectrogram or writing keyboard shortcuts, don’t stick if I close and reopen.
Version 2.3.3 is about 8 years old… Current version is 3.7.7.
Sure, just so happens I like my macbook with Catalina. Idk, maybe need to make room for memory, but I’d like for it to just work with the settings I prefer like it always has.
That implies something has recently changed.
FYI, settings are stored ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/audacity.cfg
You didn’t mention anything about your computer / perating system… Audacity 3.5.1.0 works for me on a MacBook Air with 4 MB of RAM and macOS 10.13 “High Sierra”.
On my iMac with Sonoma (macOS 14) I use Audacity 3.6.4.
