Audacity 2.3.3 - Add frequency labels to new Graphic EQ interface

Hi,

I feel that the new Graphic EQ interface in Audacity 2.3.3 needs frequency labels. Adding them would also give the benefit of increasing the size of the dialog making it easier to use. At the moment it feels too small (compare with the size of the Filter Curve dialog) and resizing by dragging the border isn’t persistent. I’m sorry to say it, and I’m not being disingenuous, but it feels - unfinished.

ATB,
Neil

I am minded to agree with you about frequency labels Neil - and I know Steve does too. I’ve written to the developer about this.

With regard to the sizing, you can re-size the Graphic EQ dialog box both vertically and horizontally - click&drag on its border.

Peter.

I hope this is fixed soon, a number of users I know consider this a design error

Are any of them C++ developers? If so, perhaps they would like to contribute improvements.

I have logged this as P2 bug 2261 (it is technically a regression on the old Equalization effect in 2.3.2).
