Currently can record audio from the mic input but when you hit stop recording audacity locks up. If you try to do anything it crashes when it recovers the recording is empty. Already loded the latest sound card driver already. Inside a domain and can’t check the microphone privacy settings as it’s hidden by the admin. Any other bright ideas?
Are you running Audacity on a network? Audacity is designed to be run on a local machine, and to read/write data to a local drive. Network delays can cause havoc because Audacity requires real-time access to the drive.
