Hello, any advice appreciated on this niggle.
Each time i run Audacity 2.1.3 (portable) [Windows 7], my customized (user-defined) keyboard shortcuts from the previous session are ‘gone’.
When I look through the various folders & files (including the .cfg files) their contents seem to include no obvious list of ‘my’ keyboard shortcuts.
It’s a bit of a pain to go through the motions of redefining them at the start of each session.
Many thanks in advance for any feedback.
You can use the Export/Import functionality in Keyboard Preferences:
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/keyboard_preferences.html
Audacity should really be remembering your settings between uses - unless, that is, you clear/reset your audacity settings folder …

If you are using a “PortableApps” version of Audacity, please refer to their support channel.
If you are using the (official) Audacity Zip package from https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ please describe how you have set it up.
Many thanks waxcylinder & steve.
For now i shall use waxcylinder’s suggestion (the import / export function) until i identify the ‘problem’ and sort it out.

Do you have a “Portable Settings” folder?
