Audacity 2.1.1 will not Install in Windows 7 Enterprise

My computer environment:

  • Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1: 64 Bit
  • McAfee VirusScan Enterprise
  • audacity-win-2.1.1.exe

When our IT goes to install this application as an Admin, the Audacity exe file does not execute once the admin credentials are provided.

Could your IT Manager be doing something with extra security precautions that is causing that?

If the IT Manager is trying to run the Audacity installer from temporary space, ask him or her to try saving the installer first.
