AU3 file to enable & run Audacity but stuck...

The error screen in Audacity claims it does not recognize the file.
This worked through Window’s Task Scheduler but then my system got messed up and WTS stopped cooperating. I now want to control Audacity using VBA.
One file to Initialize Audacity, one to start recording, another to stop recording.

Presently the Start Record command from WTS is

“C:\Gork__Scheduled Event Scripts\StartRecording.au3”

which contains:

#Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Outfile_x64=getStJI.exe
#EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
#cs ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
AutoIt Version: 3.3.6.1
Script Function: open Audacity, start recording
#ce ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

; Script Start
Run (“C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity\audacity.exe”)
WinWaitActive(“Audacity”)
Send(“!^+rr”)

I don’t think it’s a Audacity problem.

Does this command line work from the Windows command line?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity\audacity.exe

It works for me.

You may do better to ask AutoIt support about this.
