Celemony informs me that their ARA software is FREE. If ARA were implemented on Audacity, we would be able to embed Melodyne tuning app into Audacity. Please consider this possibility.

I’m not a developer but since Celemony doesn’t officially support Audacity, it’s not clear that it would work. Audacity already supports VST but most commercial plug-ins don’t officially support Audacity and many VSTs don’t work.
…Technically, compatibility is up to the plug-in developer but I assume there is often collaboration between the plug-in and host/DAW developers.
ARA (and CLAP, for that matter) are interesting for the future, but given that it only is supported by a handful of plugins, it’s not too high up on the priority list
