Apply Chain

Hi, I just wonder if it is possible to set a default folder for this. When I have used this for a while, then it start to go to the folder I have project in, but it seems to be random… It would save me some clicks if I could set what folder it would open when I will apply a chain…

It’s not random. The default directory is the directory that you last imported audio from, so if you run a chain on files (the files are imported and processed), and then run the chain again, the default directory will be the location that you imported from the first time. This behaviour is not configurable.

Thank’s for quick response Steve… Well, I have done this so many times now, and every time I open Audacity, and do the chain, it does not goes to the last folder i did the chain job in, but, as for now, always open the Audacity folder. However, I figured it out by trying something else, open a file and export it to the folder I want Audacity to go to when I apply a chain, and then it worked. So now, it goes to “my” folder of choice every time. So next time, when I work in another folder, I know the “work around”…
