hi
if you save 75 songs into the computer can this have a negitive effect on the files?i seem to be having issues with some files that wont open up with in the audacity wave
editor…some of the files and datafiles get moved around to other areas beside where i store them.i get messages saying “audacity cant find the data folder for this tune”"
and messages to that effect.any explations would help…thanks.

Only if you come close to filling up the disk - I have thousands of songs on my computers.
Or maybe Lenny you are asking about Audacity projects - if you have seventy five of those and try to be tidy by moving stuff around and cleaning up then you are likely to run into trouble. The times when my files go misssing are normally when I have used the wildly dangerous drag&drop and dropped them in the wrong place …

the problems usually occur when i just save them to my computer right before i edit them.then when i do burn them to a cd and use that add to window i find they arent on the list and then have to dig out the records and replace the missing tunes…a pain…
