Another 'Error: not well-formed (invalid token)' issue

Windows 8
Audacity 2.1.0

Hi folks,

I had a computer crash during a recording session and my autosave popped up with ‘Error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 9595’.

I downloaded Notepad++ to see if I could fix the corrupted line, but there was only 6 lines of code that I could even see in the file. I tried converting it to some other formats and that didn’t yield any results either.

Anything I’m missing?

Thanks in advance,

There’s not enough in that file to recover anything.

I recommend updating to Audacity 2.4.2 at your earliest convenience. You can get it via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
