Have tried all the suggested fixes and still can’t clear problem
AUDACITY Audacity version 2.3.2.0
iMAC OS 10.13.6
Apple (upper left) > Shut Down… (not Restart). Wait for it to complete shutting down—wait for the spinning daisies to go away.
Wait a couple of seconds and Start.
Go (top of desktop) > Go To folder:
Do not leave out the little squiggly line.
audacity > SessionData > delete the Lock File.
