I’m using Audacity 2.0.6 on windows 7. I’ve been using audacity for years now. I recently got the yeti mic, and now when I record there is a ton of static. The static is only there when I use audacity. It isn’t there when I’m recording with my webcam or with the windows sound recorder. The yeti mic works clearly on everything but audacity. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I’ve been trying to fix this for hours now and absolutely nothing is working.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Can you post a short piece of static? Use a mono sound file, count to two or three while you hold your breath and then say something: 'Testing one two three."
