Annoying pop up EVERY time I do anything

Hi. I’ve seen this posted by a couple of others and it’s never shown a resolution. I updated today (yes, it’s been a while since I needed to use Audacity) but every single time I do anything, I get an Audacity Information pop up, along the lines of the picture below:

It’s SO annoying and I can’t find any setting anywhere. I haven’t turned anything on manually, and it’s making me want to get rid of Audacity after 15+years.

Please help!

Does this continue to happen after you use the “Tools > Reset Configuration” menu command?

Hi. Thanks for replying. Yes it does I’m afraid. I’d tried that after seeing another thread, but no change. It has only ever started with this update.
