Animated or Active Panning - There a Plug-in for that?

Is there a way to create a smooth pan in the audio using some kind of audacity plug-in? Right now I only have the ability to set a track’s position to 100% L or any increment to 100% Right. What I would like to do is start a track all the way to the Left, and do a slow pan to the Right.

That possible?

This effect does not use the “Pan” slider - it requires that the track is a stereo track and it adjusts the volume of the left/right channels to create the panning effect.
