Newbie, been using Audacity long enough to know that this guy on e-bay is selling Audacity!! Dunno if it’s legal or not, maybe it just rubs me wrong.

It is probably not illegal, but I would say immoral. He should make it clear that it is free open source software that he is selling, but he doesn’t.

It’s not illegal, but he is basically exploiting people who don’t do 30 seconds of research on what they’re buying. It’s perfectly legal to sell Audacity as long as you supply the source code along with the program, but he’s not even getting that far, all he’s selling is a link to the website (which is also legal).
