Audacity 2.1.0 installed version. Windows 8.1 Professional, Asus Sound Card. If I use audacity to play an audio file it completely locks out all sound output until I reboot the system. http://i.imgur.com/3W71sk8.png If I reopen Audacity it still plays sounds, but even after closing Audacity nothing else in Windows will. Audacity just isn’t letting go of the sound output even after closing. Thanks.
Do you have a USB microphone or other USB sound device?

You’ll have to forgive me. For some reason Voicemeeter started interfering. I hadn’t used it in a couple weeks so blamed Audacity. Now I wish I could figure out why Voicemeeter is doing this.
