After a system crash.

In 15 years I’ve had several hard disks go south on me. I’ve learned to back up religiously, but every once in awhile… Is there a way to back up EQ profiles and other user data to a dedicated back-up file (hard disk or DVD or tape), so that I could insert the data into the appropriate Audacity directory after a clean reload?

Thanks in advance.

The EQCurves.xml file is in the Audacity folder for application data. There is also EQBackup.xml in the same directory which is the previous saved state of EQCurves.xml.

Thanks, Gale. Experience tells me this will save a lot of work and frustration.
