I have been using Audacity 2.0 without any problems. Recently I updated my Audacity version to 2.1 as well as my codec libraries.
However, I noticed that when I tried to do this in any tracks:
Split Stereo tracks
Adjust track gain in one of the track channels
choose “Make Stereo Track”
The adjusted gain aren’t saved. It never happened in 2.0 before. Is it a bug?
Thanks, but I think it’s working as it always did.
Make Stereo Track does not mix or do anything other than make two tracks into one by putting one channel on top of the other. The gain and pan of the former bottom track will be discarded after Make Stereo Track.
Do Tracks > Mix and Render before Make Stereo Track, as it says in the Manual: Audacity Manual.
