There is a section of my recording from Letter E to Letter F which I wish to copy-paste to a later point in the recording.
Several tracks are involved in the chunk of music to be copied: bass, drums, piano, guitar, and several vocals.
I’m trying to create a clips in all those tracks from E to F, in other words to select that section, insert split points at E and F, and then copy the entire rectangle.
I do not know any way to place the cursor at the same point (letter E.) in multiple tracks and then insert the split point in all those tracks at the same exact point.
Make a selection in one track, then
“Select menu > Tracks > In all tracks (Shift + Ctrl + K)”
Then “Ctrl + i” to split.
