Hi
It appears that my ACX plug in is not working for tracks over 30 mins. It shows process complete but can’t see any results. Is it just me or is this a bug?
Please help.
Cheers

Ensure that you are using the current version of “ACX Check”.
The current version is available here: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Analyze_Plug-ins#ACX_Check
Hiya Steve
I hope you are well.
Sorry dummy question. How will I know what ACX plug in version I have? I went to the link you provided and I can only get a txt file of the ACX plug in. Sorry to be a nuisance.
BW
That “text” file IS the plug-in.
It “should” have a file extension of “.ny”, though Macs often add “.txt” to the name when you save it.
If you post a screenshot I can tell you straight away.
Hi Steve
Thought I check it out before I get back to you but I just can’t crack it! Sending you few screenshots, hope this will help.
Please help.

ACX Check is a “Nyquist plug-in” and it needs to be installed. Instructions here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_mac_os_x.html#nyquist_install
You may need to enable the option “Allow overwriting” (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/nyquist_plug_in_installer.html)
Please note in your screen shot the filename is wrong. Take off the dot txt.
ACX-Check.ny
Other than that, it seems to be the right one.
Koz
Ideally, yes, but the “Nyquist Plug-in Installer” does that automatically.
Hi Steve and Koz
Thank you for taking time to look at this. I will go over my ACX plug in, do your suggestions and fingers crossed this get sorted.
Cheers

Hi to you both
Looks like the ACX check plug in I have is an old one. I downloaded the ACX check from the link you provided, change the file name to ny and vola, it worked! Screenshot attached.
Thank you so much!
