First of all I hear a tone in the background. Sounds like a standard computer noise thing. Not bad but possibly problematic.
I like the read and the texture of your voice. Accents are always pleasing to me. I think it could use some more highs without becoming sibilant.

I don’t think Galaxy Dog posted an example of fully corrected work. So if you’re listening to an early sample, yes, that has some significant problems.
