Access to hard disk at every keyboard key stroke in label track

While writing labels in the labels track, I hear the hardisk clunking at every key stroke. This is new as I haven’t heard this in older versions of Audacity. Is this normal or should I report this as a bug?

Audacity 3.6.4 under Windows 11
