Hello,
so I know that ac3 is frame-based: has it’s own fps structure, saves 1536 samples per frame and has about 31 fps. I’m trying to sync dubbing from a PAL DVD (video runs at 25fps and is speed up by 4,096%). Which means that I take the ac3 sound from DVD and use Change Speed And Pitch (because the speed up also changes the pitch - soundtrack sounds a tone up). When I export to ac3 using the ffmpeg library, the time is different, which is caused by the frame-based structure. My question is, if someone know, if there is some silence added to the beginning too? I understand it may add something to the end of the track, but the beginning?
