Hi! I was recording sound from interent radio: project 44100Hz. After using a spectrum analyzer, I found that the range of no more than 22050Hz, however, after set of the project at this frequency, I listening deterioration in the quality of the recording. Why?
Audio with 44.1 KHz sample rate’s highest possible frequency is just under 22 KHz.
When you lower the sample rate to 22 KHz, the highest possible frequency is 11 KHz. Obviously, there is some sound between 11 and 22 KHz.
