3 mics 1 interface not working

I’m new to Audacity and I’m not finding any answers online. I have version 2.2.2 running the latest version of Windows. My interface is a Focusrite Clarett 4 pre USB and I have 3 procaster mics.

I have a podcast where I can have up to 3 people on 3 mics (all plugged into the interface) Is there anyway in audacity to record all 3 on their own separate tracks? Or even onto one track? I’ve only been able to record 2 mics.

It depends on the device drivers.

In the device toolbar, set the “host” to “WDM”, then see if you can set the “number of channels” to 3. If you can’t, then change the “host” to “WASAPI” and see if you can select 3 channels.
