Yes 3.3.3 was good for opening older versions. 3.7.3 opens projects I made in previous years, as far back as 2021, but once you open then in this version you always have to, as it does a conversion that is only forwards compatible, probably because of how it is structured differently on things like volume and gain and new plugins.
