I just installed 3.7.0 and now I can’t find any way to record internal sounds. The prior versions over many years had no trouble recording internal sound but no matter how I change the preferences and record options all I get is a flat line with a small noise signal, barely audible. I will try to install and earlier version so I can continue to make recordings.
Use WASAPI loopback as your recording device.
If you have more than one audio device, make sure to the select the one where the sound is coming out.
WASAPI has always been selected but there is no option for WASAPI Loopback
