I am writing for someone else. He records audio using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on a WIN10 laptop to a usb flash drive. The drive can be used to play in VLC. I do not know if AD can play it as AD is not in the play software that opens. That is not the issue though. Others here have current cd players that include usb ports that allow flash drive content to be read by various software. The issue is that an error appears such as “media player recordings not compatible”. Are AD recordings sent to the flash drive compatible with this type of cd player? If yes what is the process to accomplish this? Same question for VLC. I have no experience and need specific advice. Thanks.
