Re: Audacity 3.0.2 on Fedora 34 saves "Empty" projects

If this helps, I checked the file sizes and all project are the same: 327680 bytes. I've just saved an empty project using Audac...

Re: Audacity 3.0.2 on Fedora 34 saves "Empty" projects

Do you know if SQLite was compiled with SQLITE_ENABLE_DBPAGE_VTAB?
Apparently this is a requirement for AUP3 project files to work correctly, but is not the case for some Fedora users.

Re: No sound recorded from my casette deck

Go to "Help menu > Diagnostics" and click on "Audio device info".
Wait for the device info window to open, and save the info somewhere convenient.
Attach the saved file to your reply (See: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=64936)

Re: Audacit 3.0 won't open MP3s?

What happens if you:

1. Launch Audacity
2. "File menu > Import > Audio" and select the MP3 file

I tried to see if it affected the other file renders as well. Some odd reason, they work well in audacity.
What do you mean by: "the other file renders"?

The file was simply extracted to a folder of the same name.
OK, I understand.

The problem seems to be: "Project is in a read only directory"

Try copying the extracted "ToneTest.aup3" file directly to your "Documents" folder. Can you open it from there?

error code shows as following.
Where do you see that error? Is that from "Help menu > Diagnostics > Show Log"?
