I just read the post thread titled "Vista SP1 and What U Hear" and wonder if our problems are the same. I did update to SP1 sometime around the time my system quit working. Anyone else have experience with Vista and SP1 using Audacity?

Check out the thread that is titled "Error Opening Sound Device". Is this an accurate description of what you have experienced? I wonder, because I installed SP1 around that same time also and I wonder if there is some sort of conflict.
