Where are you expecting to hear the sound from? The mixer or your sound card?
What do you have set as the playback device in "Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O"?

What U Hear not working in Vista?
I usually use Audacity to record sounds from my sound card but I can never do it on my Vista system. Is there any steps online to help me with getting this to work? I have Vista 64-bit with integrated audio. Please help.
