WHEN I RECORD AND ACTUALLY BURN IT TO A CD IT SOUNDS LOW???
... it and listen to it in my cd player in the car it sound low, to the point I have to raise the volume all the way in order to enjoy it. Please help me get this on the right track. I'm using a MacBook Pro and 1.2 in audacity

It would be more helpful if the "Help" button produced correct information (then you would not need to use MediaInfo). An MP3 file that has been named with a WAV extension is incorrectly reported by "Help" as "wma-proprietary". ...

They tell you to select "Mix-Out" or something similar for recording instead of one of the standard audio connections. You need to change that. So if you are recording with a microphone that is plugged into the "Mic" socket of your sound card, you need to set the Recording input...

it would be helpful if the "Help" box cited in my first post in this thread gave a link to MediaInfo for testing the actual format of the file and to installation info on FFmpeg and any other such facilities that are helpful for ...
