They don't all work. Newer computers make it harder and harder. Macs have never been able to do this without adding software.

Audacity is a terrible converter, so if your songs are all different technical standards, they're not going to mix well even if you do manage to get them all on a timeline at once. You can use Super or Switch (download) to convert everything to one standard. 44100, 16-bit, Stereo WAV format is good....

Can Audacity record streaming media from the web? I'm wondering if someone designed a plug-in that can do this? I want to record a gathering for my link removed site but I can't figure out a way to record the streaming audio.
