I took your advice and downloaded the newest beta. I now see the problem is the turntable is not listed as a device. I'm just not sure as to where it went. I never deleted it and it recognized it before. I went to the memorex website but their support is very lacking and the turntable was not listed...

Using the Snap To function
How do I set the "Snap To" setting so I can only select in increments of 0.05 seconds? Down at the bottom of my window, I see a check box for "Snap To", but it appears this is only for selecting a specific region based on a starting and stopping time index. Can anyone help?

Your iTunes files are probably in .m4a format. You'll need the FFmpeg extension to import them, or convert them to AIF inside of iTunes.

... it. Try increasing the latency (audio to buffer) setting in the Audacity 1.3 Recording Preferences . See if any of these computer resources tweaks help. Gale
