I restored my computer, and now I have no sound.
I had a problem with a computer program and had to do a system restore, and now the Audacity screen comes up but I can not hear anything even when I try to playback what I previously recorded. Please help.

hey,
While running audacity the entire file menu strip is gone. I'd super appreciate some help on getting it back. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10.

Thanks for your quick reply. You 2nd suggestion was the answer. The usb device wasn't set to 2 channel stereo under Sounds on Vista.

Bill ~ thanks for your replies. I have worked through the lab, and I still need some help. I want to actually talk briefly (introducing the podcast) and THEN have the music start. I am not finding how to do that. Any tips? Thanks so much in advance!
