There are two Linux forums, one for audacity 1.2.x and another for audacity 1.3.x (same for the other oses). I moved it to the 1.3 section.

This is the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum - I think you've probably got Audacity 1.3.12 (look in "Help menu > About Audacity")

Antares Autotune is not available for Linux as far as I'm aware.

I installed Audacity from the ubuntu app center, and i am wondering, where would i find detailed instructions for installing, and using an autotune plugin? i just thought it would be fun to mess with.

I am fully aware that it's a volunteer effort - I was just lumping those who do help out into categories as you just did, hence the term QA team.
