Re: Help with LAME MP3 Encoder Install
I am having difficulty with getting some of the actions to work.
I just installed LAME, but I can't click "Preferences" or anything like that.
I have Audacity 1.2.6, and WIN XP.
Also, I've tried uploading a new file, and it only won't work after I've recorded something.

... it is not practical to do so. As a general recommendation I'd agree that this is a good idea. For complex plug-ins that require extensive "Help" I'd also recommend that the Help screens are also made available as a separate Help file. In most cases that could be a plain text file (with ...

Re: help with chains (amplifying between markers)
No that's not possible directly.
You're aware that if you amplify each "song" from an album individually some may end up sounding louder or quieter than others?
What you can do using Chains is to Normalize each of the tracks after they have been exported.

help with chains (amplifying between markers)
Hi
I am wondering whether it would be possible to use the 'chains' feature in 1.3.x beta to amplify each section between markers individually? I do this manually before exporting multiple (when I am cutting up tracks from a vinyl copy).
cheers
