... as the services closed by Audacity don't seem to affect the performance, I'd like to delete them from the start-up going in. Thanks for any help. As you can tell, this is not a big deal.

Revised interface. The only thing that works is the help menu.
Does this cover all of the options that we want?
The help menu should make clear what each of the options is supposed to do.

... in the new location without renaming them. Open the copy of the damaged project, and choose to not delete the orphaned blockfiles. Then go to Help > View Log. You should see a list of all the orphaned blockfiles. You could copy and paste that list into a TextEdit document (to save it), then ...

Recording vinyl
I have an 20 year old pioneer system works perfectly well. Trying to record vinyl but there is lots of noise, like feedback. I had to recoonect the turntable cables having cut them a few years ago. Could this be the problem? Any help.
