... you play the normal record, crystal clear but on here its distorted, you can hear it but just sounds like it was recorded at a concert. can anyone help me here? maybe remove the noise if i sent the file? thanks

This is my first time out with Audacity. Lots to learn. Win XP Pro. I was able to hook up my cassette player to the Line In on my computer. I started the tape and saw the meters (on the right) deflecting in Audacity. The program was hearing music. The problem is, I don't hear any music. I want/need...
