Re: Help for a beginner

one track goes silent in the middle of the waveform
Describe the show -- in detail. Something like "multiple music tracks and two narrators taking turns talking and one of the narrators drops out in the middle of a word and comes back three seconds later."

Re: Help for a beginner

I'm having a similar problem: in my edited Audacity project one track goes silent in the middle of the waveform and then becomes audible again - really weird! I haven't deleted any files and this part hasn't been made silent - it's as though it has been muted somehow,

Cheers,

Ian T.

Re: Help for a beginner

Audacity isn't a WAV editor. It's a manager and it manages outside files to make your show. For example, if I open up my piano2.wav sound file and edit it, Audacity never actually pulls that file inside. It just points to it at the right time. After I finish editing, if I destroy or move the origina...

Help for a beginner

Hi there I have been using Auadacity at a very basic level for the last few months or so, and I've found it really straightforward and user friendly. However I am having a terribly frustrating problem which I just don't understand. I am creating a podcast which has a looping sample in the background...
