I am new to this and have downloaded audacity.com version 1.2.6. I have also uploaded it to my website, but nothing shows up. Can someone walk me through the process of uploading it from my computer to my website?

... need to try and determine where the beep is coming from. First let's check that you really do have Audacity 1.3.12. Open Audacity and go to the Help menu > About Audacity. It will tell you the exact version number. I presume that you downloaded Audacity from the Audacity web-site? http://audacityteam.org/download/ ...

... really obvious that I was missing in the setup of either the sound card or Audacity. I'll keep plugging away, and in the mean time, thanks for the help. Steve
