Step one is stop using Audacity 1.2. Audacity 1.3.12 has provisions for overdubbing. Get Audacity 1.3.12 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ If you use MP3 or other compressed formats, you should get "lame" and "FFMpeg" from the same place. Do not use older versions of t...

... kept its position. Interestingly, this seems to have fixed it - I now can't get it to go behind the menu bar again, however hard I try! Does this help at all? It seems to have temporarily fixed my problem at least, but I imagine you'd still like to fix it? r.

Leland is working on lame_enc.dll detection issues now. I've attached a 3.98.4 version that he's built which he thinks may help. Please use/offer this one if there is a problem with the earlier .dll's.
