... this is going to start happening every time I work with the program and if that's the case, I want to find a different software ASAP! Can someone help me? Is there any way to fix this? I was 90% done with the project and I'd hate to start from scratch.

I have preferences set at 44100 and 24 bit while recording. I don't say anything about "bits" when exporting in WAV. No, not fooling with MP3.

Just to cover the bases, you have Audacity preferences set for 44100, 16-bit, Stereo, and you Export > WAV (Microsoft) Signed 16-bit PCM, right?

Please tell me you're not trying to create MP3 files in the middle of this process.

trying to record LPs to CDs. When exporting good audeo is exported to Windows Media Player but length of recording is not exported w/the audeo. Cannot burn new CDs w/o length of recording. I don't know why, but SOMETIMES the track length is included with the audeo when exported.
