... (see links at top of page, or the links directly below my post). There is also a comprehensive manual included with Audacity 1.3.12 (look in the Help menu). When you first launch Audacity, a Welcome screen appears with links to useful information. You will probably be best to read those, and ...

Re: HELP !!!!! PLEASE......
If you use a Behringer UCA 202, then as I said previously, it's a "no frills" device.
There's no input gain control - it's just straight in and straight out, but that's not a problem if you're connecting a mixer as the output level from the mixer can be adjusted.

I just updated to 1.3.12, and effects WILL NOT preview (only silence) and when I apply them, it turns the selected region silent? I also have the VST enabler in the right folder, but none of my VST effects show up in the menu.... Please help me fix this.

Re: Equalizer Help
Hi guys,
thanks very much for your help
I didn't know you had to compress the vocals, I hadn't done that, they were screechy and high in places with a hollow sound
Now they're fine, thanks very much! Really happy with the sound after compression.

... recording, and it is driving my mains and monitor feeds back to in-ears/monitors for the band. So I don't want to add any more latency if I can help it. SAC also uses the ASIO drivers, so I am not sure if the VAC would allow me two lists of devices under an ASIO driver or if the tracks I drop ...

Paste problems
Hello all,
A query of seemingly of the utmost simplicity, yet still quite beyond me:
When cutting/copying and pasting regardless of where I place the cursor the audio is always pasted in at the beginning of the track. Canyone offer any help?
Thanks.

A good place to start with Audacity is these Tutorials http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Tutorials
Beyond that, search Google for any areas of specific interest. There's lots of information out there.
