I see that the temp directory is specified in the autosave file: /var/folders/VZ/VZAJKr8wEp8A3DR8I3Ishk+++TI/-Tmp-/audacity-kieran_callanan17/project443689312

Horus, sorry but I'm not familiar with the structure of an autosave file which is obviously different from a normal file. I believe it would be necessary to start Audacity and have it pop up the "recover files" dialog in order to recover the recording, as obviously it has to thread all tho...
