Right Click on that screen to produce the little box, then enable (tick) those two check boxes.

Yes I get that screen, however I do not see the little box with the 2 check's show disabled devices/show disconnected devices. If I click one of the choices it asks to either make it default or default communication device. I have been at this and I must have started another discussion on this where...
